Kindergarten and preschool

In our educational and care facility, the children are allowed to experience respectful coexistence, to contribute their interests, and help shape the activities. Tolerance, openness, and interculturality are important cornerstones of our daily educational work. We take our role as role models very seriously and are committed to fulfilling our educational mandate. Our pedagogical actions are regularly and systematically reflected upon.

We understand the support and accompaniment of the children happen through the family and the educational professionals. Therefore, an intensive educational partnership and transparent communication with the parents are extremely important to us. Through regular development discussions, weekly documentation, consultation with parents, and parents’ evenings, educational processes can be made visible and documented through portfolios.

“The kindergarten (pre-school) is a place of learning and education, play is the work of the children” (Freinet).

Learning goals are constructed and worked towards through the cooperation of families, children, and educational professionals. We pay special attention to the areas of promoting independence, strengthening the “I” and positive self-esteem. Through changing projects, the children can explore and experiment with various aspects of their environment and objects of their curiosity. The discovery is promoted through all the senses and is documented and accompanied by us.
